HUMANOID is a Dutch fashion brand that defines itself as strong-willed, unapologetic, unconventional, independent and undistracted by passing hype.

In collaboration with their creative team, I developed a line of 3 fragranced home products: a fabric mist to refresh the clothes, a fragranced candle and a sticks diffuser. I sourced sustainable fragrances and packaging and made sure that all elements were recyclable AND upcyclable. I supported them in the concept of their collection, making sure that it was expandable to new items in the future. I also helped their name this first line of the collection, Neon Cotton.

I was hired to develop a HUMANOID HOME collection, in line with their fashion collections. I had to keep in mind that natural and botanical, yet urban influences are at the core of their brand, which holds sustainable and animal cruelty free products in high regard.

THE RESULTS

With this home fragrance line, Humanoid has brought an extra sensory dimension to their brand. Not only do they use this fragrance in their stores to create a unique and recognizable shopping experience for their clients, but they they give their clients the possibility to bring this experience back home. The unique design displayed in their home, paired with the recognizable and addictive fragrance is a constant reminder of the brand, which encourages them to come back for more.

THE FRAGRANCE

The home fragrance NEON COTTON fills the room with uplifting and warm aromas, giving the clients home a natural and fresh feeling. The fragrance is composed with mood-enhancing and bright scents like Bergamot, Lemon, and Orange, as well as round notes of Jasmine and Violet, and enriched with warm base notes of Musk, Amber, and Cedar.
